I love these colors together

I wore this to a birthday party for my bestie's husband. I was inspired by a look from myeyeshadowisodd, though it reminds me of a look I did for Valentine's Day 2010.

I was going to go more extreme with the look... Bigger, bolder lashes. Really bright lips. Brighter blush. But last minute I toned it down for my boyfriend's benefit. He prefers more subtle makeup so while I wasn't going to do THAT, I didn't go over the top. 

My foundation was giving me major issues, and I'm thinking it might be be the primer I've been using, but I'm not positive. I've noticed it doesn't manage my oily skin as well as other primers have, and that's been lending to some shiny skin but nothing problematic. Not sure what the issue was yesterday, but it looked a mess so I ended up caking on powder :/
