I've won another blog award (x2) :)

Seven Things About Me:

1. I really enjoy TV shows/movies about teen moms, because I was one. I got pregnant with my son during my senior year of high school, and my daughter the year after. I feel like I can relate pretty well, but sometimes I forget that I'm not still a teen mom. I'm now a mid-20's mom, turning 25 next month.

2. I told myself that I wouldn't tan this summer, but I didn't hold true to that. I've been tanning at the beach/pool. I don't want skin cancer, or super wrinkly skin at a young age, but I'm afraid that I've already set myself up for the former. Not that that makes it okay to continue sunbathing, but honestly, it does make me feel less guilty. We'll see what happens next summer, and if I can resist tanning.

3. We've got several pets in my house... A dog, a cat, a fish, and two guinea pigs. The dog (Pebbles) was originally mine, but now belongs to my brother. The cat, fish, and guinea pigs belong to my daughter and me. Thomas (cat) was my 16th birthday present, Strawberry Shortcake (fish) was a gift from my mom to my daughter earlier this year, and we picked up Oreo and Froggyhop (guinea pigs) from a friend of a friend a few weeks ago.

4. Millionaire Matchmaker is one of my favorite shows. I love Patti Stanger, and her views on relationships. I've even read a book by her, despite the fact that I'm already (happily) in a relationship.

5. I enjoy changing my hair color and style. By some standards (like that of my boyfriend), I do it too much. But it's fun for me. And no different than changing up my makeup... Who wants the same makeup day in and day out?

6. I read my horoscope daily. Well, as long as nothing stands in the way, like me going camping this last weekend. I use an app on my phone called DailyHoroscope by Comitic. You should get it! It's eerily true. It's available in the iTunes App Store, Android Market, and Blackberry App World.

7. I really don't get along with prudish, conservative people.

Name your favorite color – Pink. Neon, baby, Pepto Bismol, whichever.

Name your favourite song – Summertime by Mae.

Name your favourite dessert – I have too many favorites. Molten lava cake, funnel cake, Susan cookies, chocolatey cheesecake, strawberry rhubarb pie, etc.

What is pissing you off? – The first thing that comes to mind isn't something I can discuss here. But as for something that I can talk about... My sunburn. I got a few patches of sunburn during my 4 day camping trip this last weekend. I even got a little bit on my lips.

When you’re upset, you? – Cry. I cry a lot LOL. Happy, sad, mad, or whatever else... I'm a crier.

Your favourite pet – Of the pets I currently have (see above), the fish is my favorite LOL. I've got little patience for the other animals in this house, right now. The dog barks, the cat meows, and I'm allergic to the guinea pigs. I like how low key and easy the fish is.

Black or White? – Depends on the item, season, etc.

Your biggest fear? – The dark, straight jackets, creatures that live in water, etc.

My best feature is – My eyes. I have a nice rack, too.

Everyday attitude – Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. One day at a time.

What is perfection – A nap with my daughter in my arms, not too cool, not too hot.

Guilty pleasure –Everything sweet.
