Shellac manicure: Tropix

When I got my nails done recently, I decided to try Shellac instead of Axxium which I've used the last few times. I felt my nails were stronger now (after removing my acrylics) so I may not need the extra thickness that Axxium gives, and while I really love Axxium, maybe I'll love Shellac even more. I'll update with pictures as the weeks go by and then do a comparison post on which of the two that I like more and why.

Originally I was going to get either Gotcha or Rose Bud (and the latter would be fitting, as Rosebud is a nickname of mine and has been since I was a baby), but I've also been aching for coral nails lately, so I went with Tropix.

On to the pictures... (I also got a much needed trim. I really am not a fan of long, natural nails but I do love long, fake ones LOL).
