Update 3: Gel manicure

So a couple of nights ago, an end on my manicure started to bubble up a little bit, and when I would put my hands through my hair, it would snag. Super annoying. Sooo I started picking. I ended up picking all the polish off by the next morning. And I was in luck! My darling friend texted me and let me know she needed to get her manicure redone, and wanted to know I would accompany her. So I did!

Remember this is what my nails looked like right after getting the first manicure. And this is what it looked like after 1 week. Then this is what it looked like after 2 weeks.

This is what my nails looked like after peeling the gel off... Not horrible condition. They definitely looked better than when I took my acrylics off. I'm curious to see what they look like when the gel is removed properly versus my peeling it. I got them redone at exactly 3 weeks, and peeled it the day before, so I still consider that lasting 3 weeks.

And this is what they look like now, after the new manicure. I chose the color Russian Navy. My lady friend and I both opted for dark colors. We wanted to squeeze one last one in before switching to lighter and brighter colors for spring and summer.

I was so happy to have my nails reshaped, now that they had grown out enough to really even them out.
