Review: eos lip balm

I've been seeing and hearing mentions of eos lip balm (and no, I'm not being lazy or stupid - the product name is in lower case letters per their website) in the online beauty community lately, and really wasn't interested at all. It just looked... weird to me. It is literally a sphere of lip balm. Besides, my Burt's Bees works awesome for me, and Carmex is a good runner up. But alas, I was in a long checkout line at Walmart and they had some on display so I figured at less than $3 I would try it. They had "lemon drop", and "summer fruit", and I grabbed the "summer fruit".

Now I know what the hype was about. It lasts forever on my lips. Seriously. How will I ever go through the whole thing, when I really only need to apply it twice a day? And it's not even remotely sticky. It just makes my lips feel soft and moisturized. The scent and flavor I can do without, though. Neither sucks, I just prefer scentless and flavorless lip products. I'm not one who LOVES to have an awesome tasting lip balm or lipgloss. I just like it plain. I can smell this on my lips, and while the scent is fine, I'd just rather there be none at all. My daughter loves it! She's always stealing it from me and putting it on.

Mine came with a tiny dent

I'm going to give this 4 out of 5 stars, just because of the scent thing. I would and will definitely try the other scents and flavors to see if any of them are weaker and less noticeable. But even if they're the same, it's not a big deal. I can get past it. Definitely worth it for how well the product works.

By the way, right now drugstore.com has a deal going where if you buy 4 of them, you save $2.
